Submission Guidelines

Editorial Policy:

iRecall Journal: An Indonesian Journal for Language Learning and Teaching publish original articles on language learning and teaching, including Language Learning and Teaching theory and methodology, proficiency goals and assessment, language education policy, curriculum and materials development, international or intercultural communication, teacher education, and multimedia-assisted language teaching. It’s accepted articles in several languages (e.g., English, Indonesian, Arabic, Chinese). iRecall Journal: An Indonesian Journal for Language Learning and Teaching welcomes submissions from around the world as well as from Indonesia.

Submission Categories:

Research Articles

Articles submitted should normally be between 4000 and 6000 words (including references, notes, and tables) in length. Should be written with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list) Articles must be preceded by an abstract of no more than 200 words. Authors' names and addresses should appear only on cover sheet, not on title page. All manuscripts should be submitted online at 'Manuscript Submission' on the journal website (only MS Word file is accepted).

 

Conceptual Article

Conceptual articles (4,000 words, exl. references). From ideation to the final writing stage, the conceptual article must clearly describe how these ideas are connected together in a larger theoretical argument.

 

Book Reviews

Book reviews (800-1500 words) and related inquiries should be sent to the Review Editor (email: contcatirecall@gmail.com).

 

General Submission Guidelines:

v  All submissions should conform to the requirements of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (Seventh Edition).

v  All submissions should be accompanied by a cover sheet including a full mailing address, a telephone or cell phone number, an email address, and fax number.

v  Authors of articles should include a brief biographical statement (in sentence form, maximum 50 words) and any special acknowledgment they would like to include.

v  Manuscripts should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere in any form.

v  Multiple simultaneous submissions from the same author will not be accepted.

v  The Editors of iRecall Journal: An Indonesian Journal for Language Learning and Teaching reserve the right to make editorial changes in any manuscript accepted for publication to enhance clarity or style. The author will be consulted if the changes are substantial.

v  Submitted manuscripts will be screened for possible unoriginal work/plagiarism. By submitting to iRecall Journal: An Indonesian Journal for Language Learning and Teaching, authors are agreeing to undergo the originality check (software) program arranged by the journal.

 

THE FOLLOWING ARE ALL SEEN AS PLAGIARISM

v  Submitting someone else's work as your own;

v  Copying someone else's thoughts or ideas without giving them credit;

v  Failing to place a quotation in quotation marks.

v  Giving incorrect information about the source of a citation;

v  Substituting different words for those in the original statement but failing to acknowledge the source;

v  Copying so heavily idea or word that it constitutes the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not.
